MAKAO HOME LOANS

The SACCO’s two mortgage products are as below;

1. Makao Halisi Loan - This SACCO loan is to be offered at terms that meet the affordable housing agenda of the National Government. Accessible to Sacco members whose gross monthly income is Kshs 150,000/- and below. The maximum loan is Kshs 4.0 Million and Kshs 3.0 Million for Nairobi Metro area and other parts of the country respectively. The interest rate is 8.0% per annum and the maximum loan tenure is 20 years. Members who are not in formal employment can access it for up to 15 years
2. Makao Bora Loan - To be accessible to SACCO members whose gross monthly income exceeds Kshs 150,000/-. The maximum loan is Kshs 8.0 Million. The interest rate is 9.5% per annum and the maximum loan tenure is 20 years. Members who are not in formal employment can access it for up to 15 years.
